  1. Prepare the bread
    Lightly toast the bread slices until just warm but not browned. This helps create a sturdy base for the sandwich while maintaining softness.
  2. Apply the spreads
    Spread cream cheese evenly on two slices of bread. On the other two slices, spread the strawberry jam. Make sure to spread all the way to the edges for even flavor distribution.
  3. Layer the turkey
    Arrange the turkey slices evenly on top of the cream cheese. Season lightly with salt and pepper to enhance the savory flavors that will contrast with the sweetness of the jam.
  4. Assemble the sandwiches
    Close the sandwiches by placing the jam-covered bread slices on top of the turkey, jam side down. Press gently to secure the layers together.
  5. Toast the sandwiches
