Instructions

  1. Prepare the grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F/204°C). Clean the grates thoroughly to prevent sticking.
  2. Make the Cajun butter
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, black pepper, white pepper, and salt. Mix until all ingredients are thoroughly incorporated into a smooth, spiced butter.
  3. Prepare the corn
Brush each ear of corn lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking to the grill. This will also help the Cajun butter adhere to the corn better after grilling.
  4. Grill the corn
Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and grill for 8-10 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes to ensure even charring on all sides. The corn kernels should be tender and have nice grill marks when done.
  5. Apply the Cajun butter
Remove the grilled corn from the heat and immediately brush generously with the prepared Cajun butter mixture. Make sure to coat all sides of the corn evenly with the spiced butter.
  6. Garnish and serve
Sprinkle the buttered corn with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side. The lime juice adds a refreshing tanginess that balances the spicy Cajun seasoning.
