Prepare the grillPreheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F/200°C). Make sure the grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

Make the herb butterIn a small bowl, combine the softened butter, chopped chives, parsley, minced garlic, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper (if using). Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated. Set aside.

Prepare the cornBrush each ear of corn with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated. Season with salt and black pepper, turning to coat all sides.

Grill the cornPlace the corn directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 10-12 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes to ensure even charring on all sides. The corn is done when it has bright yellow color with some charred spots.

Apply the herb butterRemove the corn from the grill and immediately brush generously with the prepared herb butter, allowing it to melt into the hot corn. Turn to coat all sides.
