Prepare the garlic butterIn a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes (if using), lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and set aside.

Preheat the grillPreheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F or 205°C). Clean the grates thoroughly to prevent sticking.

Prepare the cornBrush each ear of corn lightly with olive oil to prevent sticking to the grill. This will also help the garlic butter adhere better after grilling.

Grill the cornPlace the corn directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and grill for 10-12 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes to ensure even cooking. The corn is done when it's lightly charred on all sides and the kernels are tender.

Apply the garlic butterRemove the corn from the grill and immediately brush generously with the prepared garlic butter mixture, making sure to coat all sides evenly.

Add final touchesSprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese over the buttered corn while it's still hot, so the cheese slightly melts. Add an additional sprinkle of parsley for garnish if desired.
