  1. Prepare the bread
    Slice the ciabatta horizontally. Lightly toast it on a grill pan or in a toaster until just golden. Rub the cut sides with the halved garlic clove, then drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Layer the cheese and meat
    Arrange the mozzarella slices on the bottom half of the bread. Layer the prosciutto slices on top, gently folding them to create volume and texture.
  3. Add vegetables and herbs
    Place tomato slices over the prosciutto, season with a pinch of salt and pepper. Scatter the fresh basil leaves on top, then add the arugula.
  4. Finish the sandwich
    Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the arugula. Place the top half of the bread on the sandwich and press gently. If desired, wrap in parchment paper and let sit for 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve
