Preheat waffle ironPreheat your heart-shaped waffle iron (or regular waffle iron) according to manufacturer's instructions. Lightly brush with melted butter.

Cook the wafflesPour about 1/3 cup of batter onto the preheated waffle iron, spreading it evenly. Close the iron and cook until golden and crisp, about 2-3 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.
