Ingredients
Instructions
-
Prepare the wingsPreheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
-
Season the wingsIn a small bowl, mix together salt and pepper. Sprinkle over wings and toss to coat evenly. Arrange wings in a single layer on the wire rack, making sure they don't touch.
-
Bake the wingsBake for 30-35 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown, and the wings are cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
-
Prepare the maple sriracha glazeWhile the wings are baking, combine maple syrup, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar, lime juice, minced garlic, and grated ginger in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened slightly.
-
Glaze the wingsWhen wings are done, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour half of the glaze over the wings and toss until evenly coated. Return the wings to the wire rack and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes until the glaze is sticky and caramelized.
-
Final glazingRemove wings from the oven and transfer them back to the bowl. Pour the remaining glaze over the wings and toss to coat.
-
ServeTransfer the wings to a serving platter. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions. Serve immediately while hot.
