Instructions

  1. Prepare the wings
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  2. Bake the wings
Arrange wings in a single layer on a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Bake for 45-50 minutes until crispy and golden, turning halfway through cooking time.
  3. Prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce
About 5 minutes before wings are done, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.
  4. Toss the wings
Transfer the hot wings to a large bowl. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the wings and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Add the cheese
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using) over the wings. Toss again until wings are thoroughly coated with cheese and seasonings.
  6. Serve
Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley if desired. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
