Hearty, spicy stew packed with ramen, spam, and sausage

Prepare the brothIn a large pot, combine beef broth, gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sugar. Stir well to dissolve the gochujang and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Arrange ingredientsIn a shallow, wide pot or a large deep skillet (preferably with a lid), arrange the Spam, hot dogs, kimchi, rice cakes, mushrooms, and baked beans in sections around the perimeter of the pot.

Add the brothCarefully pour the prepared broth into the center of the pot, allowing it to flow between the arranged ingredients. The broth should come about halfway up the ingredients.

Simmer the stewCover the pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for about 10 minutes or until the ingredients are heated through and flavors have melded.

Add the noodlesPlace the ramen noodles in the center of the pot, pressing them gently into the broth. Cover and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the noodles are soft but still have a slight bite.

Add cheese and garnishPlace slices of American cheese on top of the stew and sprinkle with sliced green onions. Cover for about 1 minute until the cheese begins to melt.

Serve hotBring the entire pot to the table and serve directly from the pot. Provide individual bowls for serving, ensuring each portion has a variety of the ingredients and plenty of the spicy broth.
