Instructions

  1. Prepare the tofu
Carefully remove the tofu from its package and drain excess water. Cut the tofu block into 4 equal pieces and place each piece in an individual small serving dish.
  2. Chill the tofu
Place the tofu dishes in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to ensure the tofu is properly chilled before serving.
  3. Prepare the toppings
While the tofu is chilling, prepare the toppings. Chop the green onions, grate the ginger and daikon radish, and measure out the bonito flakes, nori, and sesame seeds.
  4. Create the sauce
In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce and sesame oil together. For a spicier option, add the wasabi paste and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Assemble and serve
Remove the chilled tofu from the refrigerator. Drizzle each piece with the soy sauce mixture. Sprinkle the green onions, ginger, bonito flakes, nori, sesame seeds, and daikon radish on top. Serve immediately while still cold.
