Burrata with Grilled Peaches
Creamy cheese paired with sweet caramelized peaches
Ingredients
Instructions
-
Prepare the peachesBrush the cut sides of the peaches with 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon honey. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the peaches cut-side down and grill for 3-4 minutes until caramelized with distinct grill marks. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes until slightly softened but still holding their shape.
-
Arrange the cheesePlace the burrata balls on a large serving platter. Gently tear or cut them open to reveal the creamy interior. Season lightly with a pinch of flaky sea salt and a few grinds of black pepper.
-
Assemble the dishArrange the grilled peach halves around the burrata. Drizzle everything with the remaining olive oil, honey, and the balsamic glaze. Sprinkle with lemon zest and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the peaches.
-
Add finishing touchesScatter the torn basil leaves and chopped pistachios over the dish. Finish with another light sprinkle of flaky sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately while the peaches are still warm and the burrata is at room temperature.
-
Serve appropriatelyServe with crusty bread or grilled bread for scooping up the creamy burrata and juicy peaches. This dish is best enjoyed immediately after assembly while the contrast between the warm peaches and cool cheese is at its peak.
