    In a medium bowl, combine the rolled oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Stir well until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
  2. Divide and store
    Divide the mixture evenly between two mason jars or airtight containers. Seal tightly with lids and place in the refrigerator to soak overnight or for at least 6-8 hours.
  3. Prepare the berries
    Wash the berries thoroughly and slice any larger berries like strawberries into smaller pieces. Store them separately in the refrigerator if preparing in advance.
  4. Add toppings and serve
    When ready to eat, stir the oat mixture, then top with the fresh berries and sliced almonds. For a warm version, you can heat the oats in the microwave for 30-45 seconds before adding the toppings.
