Cook the tuna (if using fresh)Season the tuna steak with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over high heat and sear the tuna for 1-2 minutes per side for rare, or longer if preferred. Let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.

Prepare the vegetablesSlice the boiled potatoes into quarters or halves depending on their size. Ensure the green beans are blanched until crisp-tender, then plunged into ice water to stop cooking and maintain their bright color.

Arrange the salad baseLine a large serving platter or individual plates with the salad greens. Arrange the green beans, potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and red onion slices decoratively over the greens.

Add protein componentsPlace the tuna (fresh sliced or canned) in the center of the salad. Arrange the quartered eggs around the tuna. If using anchovies, drape them decoratively over the salad.

Finish the saladScatter the olives and capers over the salad. Drizzle with the prepared dressing and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
