  1. Prepare the tofu
    Carefully remove the tofu from its package and drain excess water. Gently pat dry with paper towels. Cut the tofu block into 4 equal squares and place each square on individual serving plates.
  2. Create the dressing
    In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine all flavors into a smooth dressing.
  3. Arrange the toppings
    Sprinkle each tofu square with the freshly grated ginger. Distribute the sliced green onions, katsuobushi, and nori strips evenly over each piece of tofu. The presentation should be colorful and appetizing.
  4. Finish and serve
    Drizzle the soy sauce mixture over each tofu portion. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds and shichimi togarashi if using. Serve immediately while the tofu is still chilled for the best refreshing experience.
