  1. Toast the bread
    Toast the sourdough bread slices in a toaster or under the broiler until golden brown and crispy on the outside but still slightly soft in the middle, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Spread the hummus
    While the toast is still warm, generously spread about 2-3 tablespoons of hummus on each slice, creating a thick, even layer that covers the entire surface.
  3. Add the toppings
    Layer the sliced avocado, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, and red onion on top of the hummus. Sprinkle with crumbled feta cheese and toasted pine nuts.
  4. Season and garnish
    Drizzle each toast with extra virgin olive oil, then sprinkle with za'atar spice blend. Top with fresh microgreens or herbs for a pop of color and fresh flavor.
  5. Serve immediately
