Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cajun butter
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, oregano, black pepper, salt, and brown sugar. Mix thoroughly until all spices are well incorporated into the butter.
  2. Prepare the grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375-400°F). Clean the grates thoroughly to prevent sticking.
  3. Prepare the corn
Brush each ear of corn with a light coating of olive oil to prevent sticking to the grill. This will also help the Cajun butter adhere to the corn later.
  4. Grill the corn
Place the corn directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and grill for 10-12 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes to ensure even cooking. The corn is done when it has nice char marks and the kernels are tender.
  5. Apply the Cajun butter
Remove the corn from the grill and immediately brush generously with the Cajun butter mixture while the corn is still hot. Make sure to coat all sides evenly, allowing the butter to melt into the corn.
  6. Garnish and serve
Sprinkle the grilled corn with fresh chopped parsley for color and a fresh flavor contrast. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the corn before eating.
