  1. Prepare the lime butter
    In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the lime juice and zest. Reduce heat to low and keep warm.
  2. Cook the lobster
    Add the lobster chunks to the lime butter and cook gently for 4-5 minutes until just opaque and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook as the lobster will become tough. Remove the lobster with a slotted spoon, leaving the butter in the pan.
  3. Prepare the taco toppings
    In a medium bowl, combine the sliced red cabbage, chopped cilantro, diced red onion, and jalapeño (if using). Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of the lime butter and toss to combine.
  4. Warm the tortillas
    Heat a dry skillet over medium-high heat. Warm the tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable. Keep warm by wrapping in a clean kitchen towel.
  5. Assemble the tacos
    Place a portion of the lobster meat on each warmed tortilla. Top with the cabbage slaw, sliced avocado, and a dollop of Mexican crema or sour cream. Drizzle with additional lime butter.
  6. Garnish and serve
    Garnish with additional chopped cilantro and serve immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos. Enjoy while the lobster is still warm and the tortillas are soft.
