Instructions

  1. Prepare the juices
Squeeze the limes and oranges to extract fresh juice. Strain to remove any seeds or pulp if desired. Measure out the pineapple juice as well.
  2. Mix the liquid ingredients
In a large punch bowl or pitcher, combine the dark rum, lime juice, pineapple juice, orange juice, grenadine syrup, and simple syrup. Stir thoroughly to combine all the flavors.
  3. Add the spices
Add the Angostura bitters, freshly grated nutmeg, and ground cinnamon to the mixture. Stir again to ensure the spices are well incorporated throughout the punch.
  4. Chill the punch
Refrigerate the punch for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together. You can prepare this up to 24 hours in advance for even better flavor development.
  5. Serve the punch
Fill glasses with ice cubes. Pour the chilled rum punch over the ice. Garnish each glass with a pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry before serving.
