Instructions

  1. Prepare the marinade
In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, dijon mustard, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Marinate the steak
Add the steak cubes to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 8 hours for more flavor. Turn occasionally if marinating for longer periods.
  3. Prepare the skewers
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning. Thread marinated steak cubes onto skewers, alternating with pieces of red onion, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms.
  4. Preheat the grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400-450°F or 204-232°C). Clean and oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  5. Grill the skewers
Place skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, rotating a quarter turn every few minutes, until the steak reaches your desired doneness (about 12 minutes total for medium). The vegetables should be slightly charred and tender.
  6. Rest and serve
Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring maximum flavor and tenderness.
