Instructions

  1. Prepare the coffee
Ensure your coffee or espresso is cooled to room temperature or chilled. If using hot coffee, let it cool completely before adding to the blender to prevent curdling the yogurt.
  2. Combine base ingredients
Add the Greek yogurt, cooled coffee, frozen banana, honey or maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon to a high-powered blender.
  3. Add ice and supplements
Add the ice cubes to the blender. If using, add the chia seeds and/or protein powder for extra nutritional benefits and thickness.
  4. Blend until smooth
Blend all ingredients on high speed for 30-45 seconds until completely smooth and creamy. Pause to scrape down the sides if needed and continue blending until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. Serve immediately
Pour the smoothie into two tall glasses. If desired, sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon or a few coffee beans on top for garnish. Serve immediately while cold and fresh.
