Prepare the chipotle cremaIn a small bowl, mix the sour cream with chopped chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Add a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lime juice. Stir well and refrigerate until ready to use.

Make the beer batterIn a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Gradually add the beer while whisking until you have a smooth batter with the consistency of pancake batter.
