Instructions

  1. Prepare the oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Make the garlic butter
In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  3. Spread the butter mixture
Place the halved bread cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both bread halves, making sure to reach the edges.
  4. Add the cheese
Sprinkle the mozzarella, parmesan, and provolone cheeses evenly over the buttered bread. Press down slightly to help the cheese adhere to the butter.
  5. Bake to perfection
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Slice and serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Using a sharp serrated knife, cut the bread into 1-2 inch slices. Serve immediately while still warm and the cheese is gooey.
