Instructions

  1. Prepare the fruits
Ensure all fruits are properly prepared - mango peeled and chopped, pineapple cut into chunks, and banana sliced and preferably frozen for at least 2 hours before making the smoothie.
  2. Combine liquid ingredients
In a blender, add the coconut milk, honey or palm sugar, and lime juice. Pulse briefly to combine these base ingredients.
  3. Add fruits and spices
Add the mango, pineapple, frozen banana slices, cardamom powder (if using), and minced kaffir lime leaves to the blender. Blend on medium speed until the fruits are broken down.
  4. Complete the blend
Add the ice cubes and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy, approximately 30-45 seconds. The consistency should be thick but pourable.
  5. Serve and garnish
Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses. Sprinkle toasted coconut flakes on top for garnish and added texture. Serve immediately with a straw.
