Instructions

  1. Prepare the espresso
Brew two shots of strong espresso using an espresso machine or moka pot. Allow it to cool completely. For a stronger coffee flavor, you can use 3 shots instead.
  2. Blend the avocado base
In a blender, combine the avocado flesh, condensed milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend until completely smooth and creamy with no lumps remaining.
  3. Add coffee and chocolate
Add the cooled espresso, chocolate syrup, and cold milk to the avocado mixture. Pulse to combine thoroughly. The mixture should be smooth and have a light green-brown color.
  4. Add ice and finish blending
Add ice cubes to the blender and blend until the mixture is completely smooth and has a thick, shake-like consistency. If it's too thick, add a splash more milk.
  5. Serve and garnish
Pour the avocado coffee into tall glasses. Drizzle with additional chocolate syrup and top with whipped cream if desired. Serve immediately with a straw and a long spoon.
